I met you just the other day but
Now we’re standing here on your wedding day
I can’t believe how much we know
And there’s still more for life to show

Yeah -the twins- I love them too
It’s crazy and loud when they’re awake
They can make the house shake and shake
I always did think fondly of you

What I thought of you, still remains
But now this life gave us change
Not just a change in you or me
Or any way that we can see
Our spot in heaven has been reserved
Though not because we deserved
Some ask how life can be so sweet
Well because of God I did meet
O Praise Him I sang in church tonight
Faith in Him makes me feel outta sight
Well, by now we met a few years ago
Life gave me the chance to watch you grow
I met these people just the other day
Now many years have passed away
It’s strange how fast we can get along
When we come in here and sing a song
